He might be a former Westlife member, more accustomed to five star hotels and luxury resorts.
But Shane Filan isn’t afraid to go a little bit more down market – after deciding to camp at the Westport festival after he performs.
Last night, the Sligo star’s wife Gillian admitted that she “can’t believe we’re camping” but was “really excited” to visit the festival.

It marks a massive change for Shane, who was declared bankrupt two years ago, with debts of €23million after having previously bought a four-seater helicopter.
“I used to be a spender but now I’m a saver. Money is a very dangerous thing and you’ve got to know how to look after it,” he previously explained.
“When I had money I felt pressure, whether it was to invest it or do good with it, and I couldn’t let it fizzle out.

“It was like I needed to prove to myself that I could look after it, only I did the opposite, but you have to take a chance in life.
“I think if you can be content with just having normal stuff even if you do make money, it’s a safer place. Luckily I’m able to sing so I want to stick to that from now on and see what happens.”
