And the Met Gala was no different for the Irish-Ethiopian actress, as she opted for the same designer once again – rocking a couture cape dress by Valentino.
Keeping her makeup simple, the Loving star rocked cornrows in her hair as she posed on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

The star, who was raised in Co. Limerick, was also spotted with her boyfriend Dominic Cooper at the star-studded event – but the pair didn’t walk the red carpet together.
Despite dating for a number of years since starring in Preacher together, the couple have remained notoriously private about their relationship.
Looking equally as stylish as Ruth, Dominic opted for a navy and black Burberry tuxedo.
