RTE have been slammed by viewers, after their live New Year’s Eve show lost signal.
People at home were left annoyed when the signal went completely dead during a live concert with Kodaline in Dublin’s City Centre.
TVs are all over the country went black with the words “signal loss detected” appearing on screens, and people were NOT happy.
Take a look:
Wow the sound is terrible for Kodaline and break up on the broadcast. GOOD JOB #rte

They haven’t a clue how to run a New Years countdown. #rte just start a show with bad sound with a band out in the ifsc. Seriously bad programming. Over to Jools Holland

RTÉ 1 constantly glitching and giving out for the countdown is honestly the best representation possible for my life as the near year starts
