RTÉ 2FM will pay tribute to late presenter Alan McQuillan tomorrow night, with a special four-hour edition of The Electric Disco.

Alan, who worked at RTÉ for the past 18 years, died suddenly last month at the age of 36.

‘The Electric Disco: A Night for Al’ will begin at 6pm tomorrow, with Jenny Greene hosting the show.

The 2FM presenter shared some pics on her Instagram of old school records and tapes, alongside the caption, “Serious trip down memory lane going on at home for this Saturday night’s Tribute Show for Alan McQuillan.”

There will be a string of DJs performing live sets on the four-hour show including Mark McCabe, Al Gibbs, Dave Treacy and Mo K – who will celebrate their late friend and colleague.

The show will also feature interviews and some of Alan’s favourite tracks.

The special edition will also be live on 2FM’s Facebook.
