Roz Purcell ended up in A&E this weekend – with fears she lost her EYE

Roz Purcell has revealed how she nearly lost an eye this weekend.

The top model turned author ended up in A&E after a freak accident at home – which left her covered in blood.

Taking to Instagram the TV presenter explained how she seriously injured her eye, after trying to fix a broken knob in her shower.

The fitness guru told her followers that she used a loofa to try and fix the faucet, but ended up whacking herself in the eye, temporarily blinding herself.

The Tipperary star screamed down to her boyfriend Zach Desmond, who she told her “eye was gone”.

“I was convinced when it first happened that this eye was just gone, because I was completely blind for about two minutes,” she said.

Roz ended up in A&E for five hours, and despite a bruised eye and some cuts, she will be just fine.
