Rosie Connolly in tears after raising a quarter of a million euro for children’s hospitals

This is so incredible!

Rosie Connolly has officially raised over €250,000 for both Temple Street Children’s Hospital and Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

The mum-of-two posted a giveaway on her Instagram earlier this week, offering her followers a chance to win a Gucci bag in exchange for a donation to the cause.

Rosie launched a Go-Fund-Me page to facilitate donations, and her original goal was to raise €5,000 for the charities.

But in just a few days, Rosie has managed to raise over a quarter of a million euro.

After reaching the incredible 250k mark, Rosie came on the 2fm Breakfast Show to speak to hosts Doireann Garrihy and Eoghan McDermott – who have helped advertise Rosie’s fundraiser.

The emotional influencer thanked everyone who has donated so far, and said she’s hoping to raise even more money as the competition doesn’t end until next Saturday, December 21st.

Taking to Instagram this morning, Rosie wrote: “€250,000. WE DID IT… Guys I’m bawling, you have helped me to raise a quarter of a million euro… this is just mind blowing ❤️.”

“We are the most amazing little country ever… This is what Christmas is all about ❤️.”

Rosie added: “A massive thank you to @rte2fm @doireanngarrihy @eoghanmcdermott for helping me with this… ❤️.”
