Rosanna Davison turns down American dream for her fiancee

Rosanna Davison has insisted she won’t be moving to America – and following other Irish models Stateside.

The former Miss World admitted that she doesn’t want to be away from fiancee Wesley Quirke, who she is due to marry in the summer.

However the 30-year-old revealed she had made inquiries about boosting her career Stateside after her appearance in Playboy.

Asked if she would sign to an LA agent, Rosanna said: “No, I talked about it to a few people over there.

“They said, ‘You have to move over here; and that wouldn’t go down so well with Wes. Maybe in the future I would but I am really happy in Ireland and it’s so different.

Charity: Rosanna at the Cycle For Suicide launch

“It’s a much bigger market and it’s hard to make an impact in a big market, you could be there for years.”

Other Irish models including Nadia Forde and Tiffany Stanley have recently established themselves in America.

But speaking at the Cycle For Suicide launch, Rosanna insisted it was her decision to give up a US career.

She added: “Wes is great, we let each other do our own thing. It’s fine, we’re happy. Relationships are harder if you try and control the other person.”
