Rosanna Davison has taken to Instagram to reflect on her journey to become a mother.
The former Miss World is currently abroad, awaiting the birth of her baby daughter via surrogate.
The star has been relatively private about the technicalities of her journey to have a child via surrogate, but today shared a snap showcasing the realities of the procedures required to make her little miracle happen.

“Taking the time to reflect on this year as we wait (as patiently as possible) for our baby’s birth,” she wrote.
The star took to her Instagram story to share a black and white snap from a hospital bed, showing a drip piercing her arm.
“I took this pic as I was recovering from my egg retrieval procedure about a month before we found out that the embryo transfer had been successful and we were expecting thanks to our wonderful gestational surrogate,” she wrote,
“Feeling beyond grateful. Worth every single needle,” she finished.
Rosanna has been very open about her struggle with pregnancy loss.
“You feel very lonely in a way, it’s a difficult one to talk about because it’s so sensitive and raw, it’s hard to get the words out,” she told The Sunday Mirror.
