Rosanna Davison has revealed that she is on the way to welcome her baby daughter via surrogate.
Posting a snap from Dublin Airport, the former Miss World explained that she and husband Wes Quirke are en route to meet their baby for the first time.
The couple opted for surrogacy via an agency after suffering through pregnancy loss and fertility issues for a number of years.
“Today we leave on the adventure of a lifetime to finally meet our new baby girl (whenever she decides to make her grand entrance into the world!)” she wrote.
“It’s exactly a year to the day since we signed our surrogacy contracts…”
“The universe certainly works in weird and wonderful ways.”
She previously told The Irish Mirror that she had not met the surrogate who is carrying the couple’s baby.
“We have had no contact with the surrogate, they keep that totally separate.”
“There is an agency who does all the co-ordination stuff.”
Their daughter is due any day now, and Rosanna has been busily preparing for her arrival.
