Rory Cowan refuses to take break from Christmas pantomime after suffering leg injury

Rory Cowan has refused to take a break from the Christmas pantomime, after he suffered a leg injury.

The actor is playing Polly in the Olympia Theatre’s show, Polly and the Magic Lamp, until 6th January.

Despite tearing a muscle in his leg, Rory has no intention of taking a break from the panto, as he took to Instagram to tell fans that he’ll continue performing in the show.

“In the middle of @OlympiaPanto matinee I went and tore a muscle in my calf,” he revealed.

“There’s going to be lots of waiving of arms and hopping on one leg for the next few shows. I’m in bits.”

Rory assured fans that he would still perform until the last show though, as he added: “The physio told me the leg needs complete rest. Impossible! The show must go on.”
