Rory Cowan may be heading into the I’m A Celeb jungle!
The actor expressed his interest in a recent interview with RSVP but the schedule may clash with work commitments he has already signed up to.
I’m A Celeb runs through the Autumn but Rory has already been announced as the lead in the Olympia pantomime for the second year in a row which may clash with the show. He first landed the role when Al Porter stepped out of the spotlight following sexual harassment allegations.
The actor told RSVP that his agent is pushing reality TV on him.
“He keeps talking about reality shows and I keep saying no. There was one he came to me about and he said they really wanted me.
“It was 12 days on the North Sea and I’d be helping on a fishing boat.
“I wouldn’t go fishing if I was standing beside a river never mind in the North Sea.”
“At the end of 2016, Brendan O’Carroll had just done Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway as Mrs Brown. I was having a cup of tea with him and he asked if I’d do the jungle.
“I said not really — to go there to sit in a hammock, eat kangaroo testicles and shower in a waterfall isn’t for me.
“But he said Ant and Dec told him they’d love me on it, so I don’t know.”
