Ronan Keating has warned fans that people are pretending to be him on social media.

The Boyzone star has issued a warning to his followers, as he’s learned that impersonators on social media have been trying to scam people out of money by pretending to be him.

Taking to Twitter, Ronan wrote, “”Hey, a few people telling me there are impersonators on social media pretending to be me trying to scam people out of money etc.

“It’s not me. My Insta and Twitter have official blue ticks.”

The singer also addressed the issue on his Instagram story.

“I hear there is quite a few people impersonating me on Instagram and on Twitter and so on, pretending to be me and looking for money and asking favours and stuff.

“Don’t get involved, my Insta has an official blue tick,” he added.
