Rachel McAdams has gushed about working with her True Detective co-star Colin Farrell.
The Notebook actress admitted it was a “delight” working with the Castleknock native – with the pair enjoying a cup of tea and chat every day on set.
“I felt connected to Ani on a gut level. I understood her as soon as I read her. Working with Colin was a delight,” she said.

“He would come to my trailer for a chat and a cup of tea every day. We got really into chocolate coconut chips.”
Speaking to Stylist magazine, the 36-year-old revealed she took part in a “ride-along” as research for her role of Ani in the hit TV show, and admitted she learnt that “everybody is lying”.
“I did a ride-along with police and I learned that everybody is lying to everybody else,” she divulged.
“I get it now when police officers are cynical, because criminals are always trying to pull one over on them.”
