It’s only been a few days since Amanda Byram announced the news that she has left Dancing With The Stars – and already producers have started looking at her replacement.
The lucky presenter will co-host the award-winning series alongside Nicky Byrne, and since it is one of the most-watched shows on Irish TV right now, it’s a very coveted gig.
Goss.ie has heard whispers that Vogue Williams is hotly tipped to take the role.
But TV insiders have also told us that producers are looking at “a few options” and would love former contestant Aoibhinn Garrihy to take the gig, although it would require training in TV presenting for the actress.
Other names already being mentioned include Erin McGregor and Deirdre O’Kane, fellow past contestants of the show.
Erin just recently made her debut on TV3 as a guest presenter for The Six O’Clock Show.
While fans have been desperate to get Nicky’s 2FM co-host Jenny Greene to co-host the series.
Producers are also interested in Laura Whitmore, who is currently working for ITV and has been hosting her own radio show on BBC in London.
And with Bláthnaid Treacy already hosting the after show, rumours are rife she could be set for a “promotion” to the bigger role.
