James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has insisted he loves ageing.
The Irish actor, 62, lost his daughter to cancer two years ago and his first wife Cassandra Harris to the same illness in 1991, and one says getting old is a gift.
“One has to realise its a gift – a gift that some are not lucky enough to receive,” he said.
“There’s so much concern and attention reversing the clock, on fighting age with potions and lotions and whatever else.
“But signs of ageing are to be celebrated,” he told the Sun.
“Because life is wonderful and so fragile. It needs to be celebrated every day. And done so for the ones who have already gone ahead,” he added.
