PICS: Vogue Williams arrives at Arnotts with Santa

Vogue Williams travelled to Arnott’s today with Santa Claus.

The mother-of-one had a festive-filled day, as Santa’s grotto opened and all donations from the grotto will go to Saint Vincent de Paul and Pieta House.

“I absolutely adored meeting Santa at Arnotts as a child. It was always a Christmas tradition in our house and I’d arrive with a list,” the presenter said.

“Ensuring that every child has a happy Christmas is very important and our Annual Appeal this year emphasises the need for donations to offset the effect of poverty on children. SVP highly values its partnership with Arnotts and the support the company has provided in the past,” National President of the Society of St Vincent de Paul, Kieran Stafford, said.

Also speaking about how grateful their charity is to have the support of Arnotts this Christmas, was CEO of Pieta House, Brian Higgins: “For Pieta House it costs approximately €1,000 to bring one person through our service. We are extremely grateful to Arnott’s to be their charity partner and the funds raised  will go a long way to help us provide our nationwide services which are free of charge and freely available therapeutic services to people who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm.”
