PICS: All the style from 2017 IFTA Film & Drama Awards

Irish stars from far and wide stepped out for the 2017 IFTA Film and Drama Awards tonight, and the style was definitely on point.

Ireland’s biggest stars in film and drama descended upon the Mansion House in Dublin’s city centre for the exclusive award ceremony, which was hosted by actress and comedian Deirdre O’Kane.

The Academy welcomed 500 guests from across the world of Film & Drama, who all came together to celebrate the continued great work and success of Ireland’s home industry, and to celebrate Michael Gambon’s Lifetime Achieve Award.

From gorgeous evening gowns, to handsomely fitted suits, the attendees seriously impressed in the style stakes.

Two ladies that seriously impressed on the red carpet was IFTA host Deirdre O’Kane, and Best Actress in a Drama winner Amy Huberman.

Deirdre sparkled in a monochrome number, which she paired with a fiery red clutch.

Meanwhile, Amy opted for a vintage number, which she picked up in Dirty Fabulous.

Similar to Deirdre, Amy also added a pop of colour to her gown with a red box clutch.

Another lady who impressed on the red carpet was TV3’s Lisa Cannon, who was presenting for Weekend AM on the red carpet.

Looking fierce, the Weight Watchers ambassador showed off her amazing figure, and revealed to Goss.ie that the secret to her gorgeous look was simply, “diamonds!”

Meanwhile, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor looked suave in a black suit, and Denise McCormack dazzled in lace – fresh off the Dancing With The Stars dance floor.

Other stars on the red carpet included Charleigh Bailey, who won the gong for Best Supporting Actress in Film for her role in A Date For Mad Mary.

Also spotted was Miriam O’Callaghan, who looked amazing in white, and Elaine Crowley who turned heads in purple lace.

Jason O’Mara was also snapped on the carpet, and revealed that he had jetted in from LA for the special event.
