PICS: L’Oreal Colour Trophy Awards witness top hairdressing talent

While our World Cup dreams may have been dashed by the Danes, Irish fans still had a reason to sing Ombre, Ombre, Ombre as salons from all over the country went head to head at this year’s 52nd L’Oreal Colour Trophy Grand Final in Dublin.

Guests enjoyed the ultimate in black-tie glamour with a champagne reception, elegant gala dinner and spectacular live show.

Held across 5 continents in 37 countries around the globe, The L’Oréal Colour Trophy is the longest running live hairdressing competition in the world, with finalists challenged to create “Hair Inspired by Fashion.”

The categories included L’OréalMen’s Image Award, the L’Oréal Colour Trophy STAR Award and the highly coveted L’Oréal Colour Trophy Award.

The overall champions will enjoy a three-day European trip on a professional shoot to capture their winning look in style!

Celebrating the fusion of trendsetting colour, high-end fashion and global pop-culture, this year’s event also featured show-stopping performances by the award-winning Alan Edwards as well as leading Irish talent from Sugar Culture at Brown Sugar.
