Louth actress Evanna Lynch has shown her kind heart after a charity trip for UNICEF.
The Harry Potter star just returned from a trip to the Philippines.
Evanna visited the city of Tacloban which was devastated by Typhoon Haiyan last November.

The actress joined UNICEF Ireland to launch a new campaign to raise the voices of children in emergencies.
Homes, schools, hospitals, public water systems and the vaccination cold chain have now been repaired or rebuilt thanks to donations from Ireland and all over the world.
Speaking about her trip Evanna said: “Everywhere you go there’s the sound of building and people reconstructing things. It’s just so amazing to see how strong the human spirit is.”

“Despite them having nothing, despite everything being wiped away and going back to basics. They still have so much hope.”
More than a third of children in Tacloban were living in poverty before the Typhoon devastated their homes and communities.

The actress shared touching photos on her Instagram account, where she spoke about their conditions.
” Life has been beautifully simplified here and everywhere people are united in their efforts of restoration. Feeling very lucky to be a part of what the UNICEF Ireland team are doing here.” Evanna wrote.
