While the most famous marathon runner, or non runner, Rosanna Davison was in Ibiza celebrating her wedding, a host of Irish stars decided to run the Flora Mini Marathon.
Love/Hate star Aoibhinn McGinnity and actress Caroline Morahan were just some of the Irish celebs who took part in the annual event, which raises much needed funds for charity.
Former Off The Rails presenter Caroline was joined on the day by Nidge’s on-screen wife Trish aka Aoibhinn. The pair posed for a Twitter picture together, writing: “Post run relief!! #BOOM”

Fair City actress Vivienne Connolly also took to her Twitter to proudly show a photo. “57 mins YAY!! DONE #happygirl”. Other Irish stars on the day included model Daniella Moyles and Today FM’s Mairead Farrell.
TV3 presenter Sinead Desmond was also snap happy on the day.

The Ireland AM star took a picture lying on the ground after running the marathon with a simple caption “All done! Great craic!”
Over 40,000 people in total took part in the marathon this year, and thankfully the rain just about stayed away for most participants.
