Peter Casey has hit out at Jennifer Zamparelli after she claimed that he doesn’t know what direct provision is.
The former presidential candidate and the presenter both appeared on The Late Late Show last night, but it’s what happened after the show that has everyone talking.
The new Dancing with the Stars host took to Twitter after the programme to tell fans about the strange conversation she had with Peter.
Had a chat with Peter Casey in the hallway of RTE. After the general chit chat I asked him what should be done about people living in direct provision. His response… what’s that? Good night.

“Had a chat with Peter Casey in the hallway of RTE. After the general chit chat I asked him what should be done about people living in direct provision,” the 38-year-old wrote.
“His response… what’s that? Good night,” she claimed.
Shortly after the tweet went viral, Peter hit out at the RTÉ star and claimed that the conversation never happened.

The Derry native has received a lot of negative attention since he made comments regarding the travelling community during his presidential campaign, but still managed to secure 23% of the nation’s vote for president.
