Patrick Kielty and his wife Cat Deeley have revealed they are to raise their child in LA – however the comic has voiced his fears of raising a kid in the US city.

“It’s a worry. The missus is pregnant and that’s a decision we’re going to have to make,” he said.

“I thought to myself, ‘I’ve got myself out of a small village in Northern Ireland and spent a bit of time on the beach in California’.
“My life was happy, and you’re going to have a kid there and your life is going to be rubbish”, he told talkSPORT.
However, the 44-year-old’s concerns don’t end there as he admitted he isn’t too impressed with the city’s chilled out residents either.

“Then they reach the Californian beach and can’t really run any further.”
Although the Dundrum man may be hesitate about raising a baby in LA, his wife Cat is excited about having a Californian baby.
“They’re going to experience the LA sunshine Patrick and I never got to experience,” she told Closer.
