It’s two years since they split but it looks like Siva Kaneswaran won’t be reuniting with his The Wanted bandmates any time soon.
In a new interview, Nathan Sykes admitted he doesn’t talk to Siva or Max George anymore, and can’t see the band getting back together in the near future.
Nathan told Yahoo: “I still class Jay [McGuiness] as a really good friend. He’s a really nice person. And Tom [Parker], I’m not so sure about where the others are at but I’m sure they are very busy and very happy.”
However, Nathan admitted that if everyone was on board with a reunion he would be happy to have a “conversation” about it.
“Everyone is very busy, The Wanted was my life. It wasn’t just a job, it is 24/7 and you live on top of each other,” he explained.
“Obviously I am very focused on my solo career at the moment, so I haven’t thought about the band ever getting back together, but you never know what is going to happen in the future. If there was an opportunity and everyone wanted to, it’s a conversation, but if everyone is still happy doing their own thing, then I think everyone will just be happy to continue as they are.”
Siva’s currently living in Los Angeles, where he has been attempting to crack Hollywood but last week he was in New York to work on some new music.
