Nicky Byrne has revealed he was forced to hide on the DART – after a bunch of drunken fans spotted him.
The former Westlife star was heading home from attending Grease The Musical in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, when he and his family decided to take public transport home.
Speaking on The Nicky Byrne Show on 2FM, Nicky admitted he was trying to get a taxi big enough for his family of five, but eventually had to take the DART home.
“When we get on, it was all the people from the Dublin Horse Show that was on, who had obtained or taken on board quite a lot of alcohol,” he said.
“There was a few like ‘oh my god there’s Nicky’, so I hid in the corner,” he added.
After that Nicky said the train went out of service, and Nicky along with his three children and his wife, all had to wait for another train home.
