Niall Horan went backpacking around South-East Asia, and managed to do it on a budget.
The former One Direction star is currently working on a solo album, as well as getting some well-needed rest.
The Mullingar native talked about his bagpacking adventure, “I went backpacking across south-east Asia last year.
“It was incredible. We went around Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia for six weeks.”
The 23-year-old also told Radio 2’s Chris Evans Breakfast Show,”We did it on a budget and it was brilliant. You’d be surprised what 20 quid a night gets you over in Asia.”
The singer dropped his hit debut solo single This Town in 2016 and won his first solo award at the People’s Choice Awards.
However, the musician revealed that he will have to delay his solo album, which was set for release later this year.
Despite his album being delayed, his listeners think he might be working on a new song with The Chainsmokers following a Twitter conversation between the artists.
