Music, modelling - what's next?

Niall Horan’s interview with Vanity Fair was published online yesterday, and the blonde haired star revealed a lot of new projects he has lined up – including modelling.

The former One Direction star revealed in the intervie  that he has been signed by top New York based modelling agency, Wilhelmina Models.

When asked whether or not fashion and modelling was always a dream of his, the Mullingar man said, “Well, to be honest, no, not really. Obviously, I’m into the fashion side of things.

“I think it’s part of our culture, and what we do, and my job. I just kind of like fashion in general. I wouldn’t say I was a model. I’m far from that, but obviously Wilhelmina thinks different.”

“It’s gonna be fun to see what happens. Now that it’s been put in front of me I’m just really excited about it to be honest,” he said.

The This Town singer made his first awards show solo debut last night at The 51st Annual Country Music Association Awards.

The CMA’s took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee and the 24 year old performed onstage with country singer Maren Morris.

The pair performed their song “Seeing Blind” from Niall’s debut solo album Flicker, and the duet received a huge reception from the crowd who took to their feet to applaud the performance.

Speaking to Billboard during the week, Maren praised Niall, adding that, “He’s a huge fan of this genre, and he completely gets the weight of getting to debut this song on the CMA stage.”

So, with music and modelling being ticked off his list, Vanity Fair asked the question that we’re all thinking – is a movie debut next on the list?

“To be honest, I’ve never really thought about it. I am quite impatient so a lot of that waiting around between takes would absolutely kill me,” Niall said.

“But still, you know, I never thought that I’d be signing to a modelling agency, so I don’t know. Obviously if the right thing came around I’d give it a look, but I doubt that they’ll be coming and knocking at my door. I’d probably have to go looking for them,” he joked.
