Niall Horan not ‘altogether happy’ with nephew’s use of his fame

Niall Horan is not ‘altogether happy’ with his three-year-old nephew’s use of his fame, sources say.

Theo Horan has gained almost 800,000 followers on Twitter since his birth, thanks to his One Direction star uncle Niall Horan.

The boy’s parents, Greg and Denise, have been pushing their son as a child star thanks to their family’s famous links.

According to the Irish Mail on Sunday, the parents launched his ‘career’ by having him open a Lidl store in Mullingar, and he has been signed as an ‘influencer’ with top agency boss Andrea Roche since he was a toddler.

Despite the three-year-old’s mass Twitter following, his uncle Niall seems to have distanced himself from the family, as sources say he’s not happy with his photos and private family pictures being used on public profiles over which he has no control.

However, sources are now saying that Greg is considering moving his family to the UK, where Niall has lived since he shot to fame with One Direction, as he’s reportedly keen to establish himself and capitalise on his famous surname even further.

Back in January, the father-of-one tweeted, “Looking forward to [sic] working with some amazing brands in the next few months #InfluencerMarketing #GregHoran.”

Greg has already attended meetings in Manchester, and was also seen checking out a Ferrari and being treated as a VIP guest at a private club.

Greg and Denise marked their son’s first birthday, by creating a 20ct gold commemorative coin and selling it to One Direction fans for €22. They name-checked Niall on Theo’s website, which caused a flock of fans to follow the youngest Horan.

At the time, they wrote on Twitter, “You love us all as a family and words can’t explain how that makes us feel. You love Theo and uncle Niall so much and we know that Theo will grow up loving you back. Denise and Greg are so proud of you all and the genuine messages you send us and our little treasure Theo.

“Since that day in July 2013 when Niall put the first picture of himself and Theo on Twitter, we have been overwhelmed with kindness. It has changed our lives and it would be unfair of us if we neglected you, the fans,” they wrote.
