Niall Horan is set to make his comeback in music, but this time – he’ll be alone.
The Mullingar native, who rose to fame with One Direction after coming fifth place on The X Factor in 2011, has achieved massive success worldwide as part of 1D – but now, Niall’s going out on his own.
Yesterday, Niall dropped a major hint on his Snapchat that he was preparing to release his own solo album.
The 22-year-old posted a selfie and wrote, “Doctors waiting room!! Have to look after the vocal chords!”

The news comes after music mogul Simon Cowell, and mentor to the 1D boys, admitted that Niall would be announcing a solo deal “very soon”.
Since One Direction went on ‘hiatus’ earlier this year, rumours have been rife that the lads would pursue their own solo careers.
Harry Styles is set to star in Christopher Nolan’s latest film Dunkirk, Liam Payne has signed a deal with Capitol Records and Louis Tomlinson has created his own record label, Triple Strings Ltd, as an imprint of his current label Syco.
