RTE is set for a Love/Hate styled series.
The upcoming show, called Taken Down, is being produced by Spiral Productions and written by crime author Jo Spain.
Some of the big names behind award-winning drama Love/Hate are working on the drama with Suzanne McAuley, who produced the crime show, Stuart Carolan, the creator of the programme and director David Caffrey all part of the production company.
The trio hold managing director and company director titles respectively.
“Taken Down is a six-part crime drama written by Jo Spain,” RTE revealed in a statement.
“We expect to conclude discussions on financing with the producers in the coming weeks so at this stage we can’t comment further.”
