New all female RTÉ News team set for pay rise

The new all-female Six One News team on RTE are set to see a huge pay rise.

According to The Irish Mail On Sunday, presenters Keelin Shanley and Catríona Perry, will get substantial pay rises.

However, their salaries are not expected to match former anchor Bryan Dobson’s who earns just under €195,000.

Sources within RTÉ have said the decision to appoint Keelin and Catriona has been “popular” amongs newsroom reporters.
