Nadine Coyle’s former manager Louis Walsh backs her to win I’m A Celeb

Will she be crowned Queen of the Jungle?

Nadine Coyle’s former manager Louis Walsh has backed her to win I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The 67-year-old discovered the Derry native on Popstars: The Rivals when she was just 16 years old, and went on to manage her band Girls Aloud for several years.

Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Louis said: “She could win, she really could because I think people are finally getting to see behind all the Girls Aloud diva hype.”

“I think what is great is that we are starting to see her personality, she is speaking slower and people can understand her and she is coming off as a natural girl.”

“Honestly, I managed Girls Aloud and she is one of the nicest people in the jungle. I don’t know who that other Irish comedian is but Nadine is the one flying the Irish flag,” Louis continued.

“It must be tough in there because there is not too many people for her to relate to. But she is a great singer and it was fantastic to hear her sing in the camp.”

“She is very underrated as a solo artist and that is what I saw in Popstars: The Rivals and why I put her in Girls Aloud. I really believe this TV moment could be the break she has been waiting for all these years.”

The news comes after Nadine’s former bandmates Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts were forced to deny claims that they’ve been slating her in a group chat.
