I’m A Celeb star Nadine Coyle has admitted she hasn’t spoken to her former Girls Aloud bandmates in 6 years.
The band split in 2013 at the end of their 10 year anniversary tour.
While Nicola Roberts, Cheryl Tweedy and Kimberly Walsh have remained close friends, Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding have been given the cold shoulder.
Speaking to The Mirror, Nadine said she spoke to Sarah in 2017, but hasn’t spoken to the rest of the band since they disbanded.
“I spoke to Sarah around the time of Big Brother but I haven’t seen or spoken to them since the end of Girls Aloud or just before I had my daughter. So that’s about six years ago.”
“Sarah more recently at the start of Big Brother when she was very excited, but yeah I haven’t spoken to or seen any of them in about that long,” she explained.
When asked if she thinks the girls would vote her to take part in gruesome bushtucker trials, Nadine says she has “no idea.”
“I don’t know. I’m not even thinking about it as a competition. Obviously I had to enter a singing competition to get into Girls Aloud whereas this is like who’s going to be the best Jungler, who makes the best fire, who makes the best water.”
“To me I’m not seeing this as a competition but I know there’s a whole voting thing which makes it slightly different but I’m really just thinking about it as an experience.”
“I have no idea if they would vote for me. Why is it like this? It is just how it is.”
