Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews announced their engagement yesterday, and the stunning Irish beauty shared a photo of her sizeable sparkler on Instagram.
And now, Metro has reported that Vogue’s ring cost an estimated £150,000.
Less than a year after his brother James married Pippa Middleton, the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Spencer popped the question to Vogue on stage in London after a performance of the Lion King.
In a statement, Spencer said, “I’ve known Vogue was the one for a long time. We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.”
“The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit. The Lion King is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes!”
A spokesperson for Spencer and Vogue said, “The couple are absolutely over the moon and thrilled to share their exciting news.”
The happy couple watched the show at London’s Lyceum theatre, before going on behind the scenes tour of the theatre.
The tour then brought them to the stage, where Spencer got down on one knee to propose to Vogue.
Spencer and Vogue have been dating ever since meeting on Channel 4’s The Jump at the end of 2016.
