Michael Buble announces he has QUIT music – after heartache of son’s cancer battle

Michael Buble has revealed he has officially retired from music following his son Noah’s cancer battle.

The singer, 43, gave his “last interview” with Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine and said he was quitting for good.

Michael said that after his son’s diagnosis his “perception of life” has totally changed.

Michael’s son Noah, 5, is now in remission but the singer said life has changed forever.

“You just want to die. I don’t even know how I was breathing,” he said.

“My wife was the same and even though I was the stronger of the two of us, I wasn’t strong. My wife was… I’m sorry, I can’t make it to the end of that sentence.”

Michael’s wife is Argentinian actress Luisana Lopilato and they share three children together; Noah, 5, Elias, 2, and daughter Vida, who is just two months old.

Michael has a new album called Love about to be released but explained that this is his time to step away from music, wanting to leave at the “very top”.

Speaking about being famous, Michael said he became “embarrassed by his ego”.

“I don’t have the stomach for it any more. The celebrity narcissism. This is my last interview. I’m retiring,” he added.
