Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard appeared on ITV’s This Morning earlier today in their first joint interview.
The couple confirmed that they had yet to make their boyfriend-girlfriend status official.
The Love Island stars have recently been hit with rumours of a break-up.
Curtis says he’s old fashioned, and wouldn’t be making the step on live TV. “It’s 2019 nobody needs to label anything, but my goal in life is to be happy and this girl makes me happy so everything’s perfect right now.”
With Maura splitting her time between Ireland and the UK Maura doesn’t seem phased by the distance “It’s good because you miss someone.” she told hosts Holly and Philip.
They shot down split rumours appearing very happy to be together “I’m happy too, so I’m happy that he’s happy”.
Maura and Curtis came 4th on reality show Love Island earlier this summer.
Meanwhile, runners-up Molly-Mae and Tommy have recently bought a home in Manchester together.
