Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard enjoy romantic break away in between hectic schedules

The pair have retreated to the countryside

Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard have escaped their hectic schedules for the weekend, to enjoy a romantic break away.

After celebrating Maura’s ambassadorship with Boohoo with fellow Love Island stars in London, the pair travelled to Kent to spend the weekend at the four star Port Lympne Hotel & Animal Reserve.

The couple are staying in one of the hotel’s Giraffe Lodges, and were up early this morning to feed a herd of the African mammals.

Curtis shared videos of their private room over looking the 600-acre reserve, showing a number of animals roaming free around the park.

Port Lympne is home to over 760 animals and 78 species – including rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and even lions.

The reserve is a huge attraction in the UK, and the boutique hotel has accommodated a host of prestigious guests – including Sir Winston Churchill, Lawrence of Arabia, and Prince Edward.

The accommodation doesn’t come cheap though, as a Giraffe Lodge costs £455 to £595 per night, based on 2 people sharing.
