RTE star Maura Derrane has revealed she wants to have another baby – to give her new son a brother or sister.
The Today presenter, 43, gave birth to Cal last month – three weeks early.
She said: “I’ve left it this late, I’m hardly going to have three or four. Ideally I’d like a second if I’d have started sooner, I’m being practical.”

She added: “I’m more normal not being pregnant, and I wouldn’t want to do it 10 times.”
And Maura – whose husband is Fine Gael TD John Deasy – told Mothers & Babies that she’s been upbeat by meeting other women who had kids in their 40s.

“I’ve met so many people now who have had children into their 40s. And the funny part is women have always had children into their 40s,” she said.
“They kept having babies until their fertility wasn’t there anymore. It’s a natural thing because if you’re meant to have a child in your 40s you will. It’s all about your health and level of fitness, because fitness is really important.”
