Mairead Ronan has responded to rumours that RTE’s Dancing With The Stars may not be returning.
The mum-of-two won the most recent series, and truly believes the show will go on.
“I can’t imagine that happening,” she told The Mirror.
“People were tuning in in their droves. Everyone from five-year- olds to 95-year-olds were watching it and it is one of those few shows on the telly where all the family can sit and watch it together.”
Meanwhile Mairead revealed that she could be headed back to radio.
“I’ve had a chat about radio and so I am just trying to see if that would work around the summer,” she said,

“And it would be great if it could but that is definitely not confirmed. Dancing With The Stars is extreme and I don’t think anyone would want that as a full-time job.
“But I love working. I absolutely adore my kids but I love working, you get a kick out of working whatever it is. Whether it is radio or telly,” she added.
