TV presenter Maia Dunphy has attacked Twitter trolls – after they claimed her husband Johnny Vegas was “punching above his weight”.
The RTE star admitted she found the comments about her husband “offensive” as they celebrated their third wedding anniversary.
They were targeted after Maia posted a number of pictures online from their wedding ceremony in Seville.

But the 37-year-old hit back, insisting: “By the way, telling my husband he’s punching above his weight is a massive insult to both of us! That is all.”
Both Maia and Johnny, 42, have been forced to juggle a long-distance relationship since hooking up – as she lives in Ireland, and he lives in England.
But Maia hopes to be able to move across to London this autumn to finally move in with the comedian.
