Louis Walsh reveals his X Factor return

Louis Walsh has revealed that he will make an appearance at the The X Factor.

The former judge was missed by fans as the show kicked off last weekend, but it seems like they won’t be too disappointed as he is set to attend the live shows.

“I’m really good friends with everyone on the show. I’ll probably be at the one of the live shows. I’m really good friends with everyone on the show, even the producers, everybody,” Louis said.

As for an appearance at the judges’ houses, Louis is not planning on being by Simon’s side, as he revealed: “I think he’s using David Walliams.”

The entertainment manager said that he doesn’t miss the show as he is really enjoying Ireland’s Got Talent.

“Doing Ireland’s Got Talent is great because it’s great to be on a big show that’s different, modern and contemporary and doesn’t look like it’s an Irish show. The standard is really good on it,” Louis said.

As for upcoming talent on the show, Louis said: “”I’d love a good singer, I’d love a country singer, I’d love a comedian. I don’t know what’s going to show up, we never know. But it was a great series last year, we had great fun because there’s no mentoring. You just show up and you have a bit of banter and just tell it like it is.”

Louis also opened up about his upcoming autobiography and revealed that he is having second thoughts about the book.

“I don’t know if I’m going to do it, I’m kind of having second thoughts because if I do a book I’ll have to ‘tell all’ and I don’t want any trouble,” the Ireland’s Got Talent judge revealed.

Louis will also be returning on the judging panel for Bank of Ireland’s Junk Kouture in 2019 alongside new judge, Doireann Garrihy.

Speaking of the competition Louis said: “It’s not like singing or dancing. It’s these young kids; they’ve spent months and months making these amazing outfits out of junk. Honestly, on the night you’ll be blown away because they’re just so amazing.”

“It’s brilliant and it’s different. This is the future of the fashion business and I think we’ll find an amazing new designer. A John Roche or a Vivienne Westwood, or somebody like that from this show,” he stated.
