Louis Walsh has reignited his feud with Cheryl by suggesting she audition for the new celebrity version of The X Factor.
The 67-year-old’s feud with the singer dates back years, and now he’s taken another pop at the former Girls Aloud star.
During an interview with The Sun, Louis was asked if he was surprised Cheryl wasn’t invited to join the judging panel for The X Factor: Celebrity – which he’s on alongside Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger.
Louis cheekily replied: “You mean as a contestant? She would be good. She could even win it.”
But when he was asked if Cheryl would have to mime to win it, Louis said, “Cheryl doesn’t mime…,” before adding, “It is called lip-syncing.”
Fans thought Louis and Cheryl had finally settled their differences, as he said they were getting on back in January 2018.
At the time, he said: “Look, we would agree to disagree on certain things but that’s what makes it good. We all get on.”
