Lottie Ryan vows her family will never release a book about dad Gerry: 'That book is never going to happen'

Radio star Lottie Ryan has insisted her family will never release a book about her late DJ dad Gerry.

The 2fm presenter admitted they want to keep their memories with the broadcaster private.

“That book is never going to happen. We have never been in the slightest tempted to do it,” she said.

“The whole family agrees that the memories of dad we are left with are for us only and it’s not something we would ever share in a book.”

Although focus has been on his wife Morah to tell all about their life together – the 29-year-old admitted that will never happen.

“My mum is a very private person. She doesn’t engage with the media in that way,” Lottie told the Sunday Sun.

“That stuff is not on the table, and I respect her for that.”

Meanwhile, the Early Early Breakfast Show host revealed it’s her mum, Morah, who she goes to for career advice.

“Mum was with my dad from the very first day he went on air in pirate radio, right through to RTE and 2fm, and all his TV shows,” she admitted.

“She has been in the business for years and has a knack of knowing what works and what doesn’t.”
