LISTEN: The Cranberries live in session with Gerry Ryan re-released on Dolores O’Riordan’s first anniversary

RTÉ have re-released The Cranberries’ live session with Gerry Ryan on Dolores O’Riordan’s first anniversary.

The singer passed away on 15th January 2018 and there are several events and tributes going on throughout the day to remember the Limerick native and her music.

In 2002 Dolores, Noel, Fergal and Mike from the band sat down with Gerry for a one-hour special, where they performed eight tracks and spoke about their career and music.

Nicky Byrne and Jenny Greene will play ‘Zombie‘ and ‘Animal Instinct‘ from the live session on their RTÉ 2FM show this morning, before Tracy Clifford will play The Cranberries’ new single, ‘All over now’, for the first time on Irish radio at 1:30PM.

Tributes to Dolores will continue on 2FM throughout the afternoon, as Eoghan McDermott will play clips from the band’s special with Gerry Ryan later in the day along with several other songs from the special.
