Liam Cunningham has revealed he nearly had his head chopped off while filming Game of Thrones.
The Dublin actor, who plays Ser Davos in the award-winning series, admitted he had a very close call recently.
“I nearly got killed by a camera,” he told the Irish Daily Star.
“We were doing this scene where I’m riding past a line of soldiers on horseback, sending them off into battle.

“So when they’re sent off, my horse wants to go with the rest of the gang, as all horses do,” he explained.
“I had to hold him back, but they brought the camera crane in really close.
“Luckily, I could see it in my peripheral vision, because my horse jumped sideways and I narrowly avoided being decapitated,” he added.
