Laura Whitmore talks romance ahead of Strictly Come Dancing

Laura Whitmore has opened up on the potential to find romance whilst competing in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The BBC series is notorious for hook-ups and break-ups between dancing partners, due to building up an intense chemistry by dancing with one another for a number of weeks.

The blonde beauty admitted that pals who have gone on the show, namely Love Island host Caroline Flack, have warned her that you do become close to your dance partner.

“I did laugh when they were talking about your dance partner. I was like: ‘Is it dance partner or is it a future husband?'”

“Friends who have been on the show told me you make best friends for life. They said you do become close as your dance partner is such a big figure to you and you rely on them so much,” she told The Sun.

Despite admitting that romance could blossom on the show, Laura isn’t looking for love.

“The show has made a lot of couples. How many relationships have come out of it? Quite a few. I’m not looking for anything, but I wouldn’t mind going to a wedding if somebody else is looking to get together,” she added.

The news comes after Laura admitted that she’s “petrified” ahead of the show.
