Kian Egan shares touching tribute to late father during Westlife’s Twenty Tour

Kian Egan has shared a touching sentiment about his late father.

Posting to Instagram, the singer shared a video of the crowd during the band’s rendition of You Raise Me Up during Westlife’s Newcastle gig.

In the video, the crowd all hold up their phones to create a stunning light visual.

Next month will mark Kian’s father Kevin’s ten year anniversary.

In the video, Kian says “hold them up for Kevin,” before asking the crowd to sing with them.

Poignantly, it is the very same song that the band sang at Kian’s father’s funeral at Sligo Cathedral.
