Keith Duffy thanks fans for their ‘messages of support’ as he takes to the stage with Boyzone after hospitalisation

Keith Duffy thanked fans for their “messages of support” before he took to the stage with Boyzone following his hospitalisation.

Last week the singer was rushed to hospital in Thailand after he developed several viral infections due to contaminated food.

The 44-year-old was kept in hospital for several days and missed the band’s first concert of the Australian leg of their farewell tour.

Keith rejoined the band today though and took to Boyzone’s Instagram page just minutes before he went on-stage and said: “So obviously I’m out of hospital, I’m out of Bangkok.”

“I’m here in Adelaide, we’re going on in five minutes. I can’t tell you how delighted I am to be back. It was such an emotional rollercoaster,” he continued.

The father-of-two then thanked fans for their messages of support and said they helped him through his recovery: “Just a word of thank you for all the messages of support and love that I got from you. It really, really, really made me get through a very tough few days. Looking forward to getting on-stage in Adelaide now and just sending out some love, thank you.”
