Boyzone singer Keith Duffy was shocked after his house was ransacked while performing with the band.
The Splash star’s home was robbed by a three man gang on December 20 – while he was on stage in at London’s O2 Arena with his bandmates.
Pals revealed that the burglars removed the front gate from his home near Swords, Co Dublin, and then smashed his front door to get in.
The 39-year-old’s home was empty during the raid, with his wife Lisa and two kids watching the London performance.
A source said he was “stunned” by the break in – where thieves took very little – as his home is covered by a number of CCTV cameras which have provided good quality footage.
A source added: “Keith didn’t find out what happened until he came off stage in London. He was devastated.”
It is understood that neighbours alerted Gardai after spotting lights inside the home, but they escaped before officers could get there.
Keith was unable to return back to Dublin because of two more dates with Boyzone, but has since given a statement to Gardai.
Over the last week, the Love/Hate star has been practicing for his appearance on Splash in Dublin’s National Aquatic Centre.
