Katie Taylor has become the undisputed champion of the lightweight division in world boxing.
The Bray native made history this weekend, as she won the WBC belt, adding to her WBA, IBF and WBO belts at Madison Square Garden.
Katie is now the first Irish boxer to hold the four belts simultaneously.
It was a close fight with her opponent Delfine Persoon in the end, with the three ringside judges making the call on the winner in the end.
Katie already offered a rematch, straight after the fight.

“It was a tight fight but I thought I did enough in the earlier rounds to shade it,” she said.
In an interview with RTE, Katie said it was “absolutely incredible” to win the title.
Supporters took to Twitter to congratulate Katie over her historical win, including UFC champion Conor McGregor, who suggested the pair rematch in Ireland, and President Michael D. Higgins.
