TV star Kathryn Thomas is jetting off on a bootcamp holiday – in a bid to be forced to lose weight.
The Voice presenter will be shouted at by army sergeants at the endurance bootcamp in Spain.
And the 35-year-old – who also presents Operation Transformation – will be leaving her boyfriend Padraig McLoughlin alone.

“I’m going over to do it on my own and it’s going to be pretty intense with drill sergeants screaming in my face in the sweltering heat,” she told the Herald.
“But I’m looking forward to it. I feel like I need it and want it. I’m fairly active and love travelling so this is combining the two passions.
Although I might say something totally different when I come back and I’m dying to lie by a swimming pool. I’m well able for it.”

Meanwhile, Kathryn has revealed she will be back on the radio, taking over from John Murray on Radio One in August.
“I’m doing another spell filling in for John and can’t wait for that,” she said.
